What is Sunday School?

Sunday school is a program offered by many churches for Christian children to learn more about their faith and develop a deeper relationship with God. Sunday School usually held on Sunday mornings after the regular church service .

The curriculum for Sunday school varies by church, but generally includes age-appropriate lessons on topics such as the Bible, the life of Jesus, prayer, worship, and Christian values such as kindness, forgiveness, and generosity. Children also participate in fun activities like  games, and songs that reinforce the lessons they are learning(As seen in Pictures Below).

 

In addition to teaching children about their faith, Sunday school also provides a safe and welcoming community . It is a great way for families to get involved in the church and for children to develop a strong foundation for their spiritual lives.
